The new dome will be automated, weather-sealed, and internet-connected, allowing remote operation and live online viewing.<\/p>\n<p>\nADVERTISEMENT <br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrandon University researchers tackle questions spanning from the soils of Manitoba to the stars in the furthest galaxies,\u201d said Dr. Christine Bovis-Cnossen, president and vice-chancellor, Brandon University.<\/p>\n<p>Bovis-Cnossen added the upgrade will protect valuable equipment and expand research and learning opportunities for students and the community.<\/p>\n<p>The Manitoba New Democratic Party\u2019s annual convention started Friday in Brandon, with 400 attendees expected to attend.
