OutKast<\/a> were celebrated with an all-star tribute performance following their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame<\/a>\u00a0on Saturday at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Despite OutKast member Andr\u00e9 3000 being present at the event, and giving an acceptance speech<\/a>, he didn\u2019t perform at ceremony, and it turned out to be somewhat of a hot mess.<\/p>\n

A medley of hits featured fellow ATLantans Killer Mike, J.I.D., Sleepy Brown joining Tyler, The Creator, Janelle Mon\u00e1e, and Doja Cat, as well as OutKast member Big Boi, who did choose to perform.<\/p>\n

The performance started with \u201cATLiens,\u201d as Big Boi came out with J.I.D. Next, Doja Cat came out for \u201cMs. Jackson,\u201d but lost her place, and it went awry. Thankfully, Tyler killed it on \u201cB.O.B.,\u201d restoring a little dignity to the performance.<\/p>\n

However, things took a turn for the worse when Janelle Mon\u00e1e took the mic for \u201cHey Ya,\u201d singing in a weirdly affected voice, before jumping into the audience and crawling across the floor.<\/p>\n

The medley steadied once again with \u201cThe Way You Move\u201d featuring Sleepy Brown, and closed out with Killer Mike joining the other artists for \u201cThe Whole World.\u201d<\/p>\n

When it was all said and done, it was even more frustrating knowing that Andr\u00e9 3000 was in the building.<\/p>\n

The 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class also includes Soundgarden, Bad Company, OutKast, Cyndi Lauper, Chubby Checker, and Joe Cocker in the performer category.<\/p>\n
