MIKE Smith, star of the TV Show Trailer Park Boys, has been charged with sexual assault. <\/p>\n
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reports that Smith was charged in Halifax earlier this month. <\/p>\n

It is thought to be in connection with an incident from 2017.<\/p>\n
Smith has been ordered not communicate with the alleged victim. <\/p>\n
He has also been told not to visit their school, workplace or home. <\/p>\n
Trailer Park Boys Inc. have released a statement which confirmed that Smith has stepped away from his role as managing director. <\/p>\n
\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t ROYAL APOLOGY<\/p>\n Prince Harry apologizes to Canada for wearing Dodgers hat during World Series<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t<\/a> \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t TRUMP’S TARIFFS<\/p>\n Don hikes tariffs on Canada in wake of anti-Trump ad after cancelling talks<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t<\/a><\/p>\n The statement reads: \u201cWe are aware of the allegation concerning Mike Smith dating<\/a> back to 2017 and take such matters seriously.<\/p>\n \u201cWe recognize how difficult an allegation of this nature is for all involved.<\/p>\n \u201cOut of respect for the legal process, we will not comment further on the case.\u201d <\/p>\n Smith played one of the three main characters, Bubbles, in 116 episodes of the much-loved TV series. <\/p>\n The mockumentary TV comedy<\/a> first came to screens in 2001 and ran until 2007.<\/p>\n Netflix<\/a> eventually picked up the show in 2014. <\/p>\n This led to the release of five more seasons as well as several made-for-TV movies. <\/p>\n The show\u2019s 13th season was announced in January.<\/p>\n It is scheduled to premiere in April 2026. <\/p>\n This is not the first time that Smith has been in trouble with the law<\/a>. <\/p>\n He was arrested in 2016 after he allegedly pinned a woman against a wall. <\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/prince-harry-duke-sussex-meghan-1034584426.jpg\"\/)
