Dame Dash has publicly addressed a court order requiring him to surrender nearly $800,000 in assets<\/a> to filmmaker Josh Webber, following a 2022 lawsuit judgment. <\/p>\n

Complex<\/a> reports on the mogul’s comments on Saturday (July 26). In a recent interview with The Art of Dialogue, the Roc-A-Fella co-founder shrugged off the legal defeat and dismissed concerns about his financial standing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have much in my name,\u201d Dash said during the interview. \u201cThe companies I had to give up don\u2019t even make money. They\u2019ve been inactive for years.\u201d <\/p>\n

He went on to downplay the court-ordered losses, adding, \u201cIn any real businessman\u2019s world, that\u2019s a win.\u201d<\/p>\n

The outspoken entrepreneur also criticized those who have publicly speculated about his finances. \u201cIf people celebrate my bills, that\u2019s an honor,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

He then offered a blunt opinion, suggesting that men who fixate on other men\u2019s financial troubles are behaving inappropriately. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnother man worrying about another man\u2019s pockets is like worrying about what\u2019s behind that man\u2019s zipper,\u201d Dash said. \u201cI\u2019m not answering any man asking me about my bread. I don\u2019t think that\u2019s masculine.\u201d<\/p>\n

In June, U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert W. Lehrburger ruled that Dash and his company, Poppington LLC, must transfer ownership of several businesses and copyrights to Webber. The entities include Dash Films Inc., Bluroc LLC, and Blakroc LLC, as well as stakes in Ocean East Improvements LLC, 1996 Songs LLC, and Lebanon Improvements LLC. <\/p>\n

The court also ordered Dash to turn over copyrights for films such as Welcome to Blakroc, Honor Up<\/a>, We Went to\u2026China, and Too Honorable. He is required to appear in court on July 31 or risk arrest.<\/p>\n

While Dash\u2019s financial challenges have attracted online mockery, he has received support from at least one peer. In May, 50 Cent<\/a> shared encouraging words on Instagram: \u201cA little setback is just a lesson… Chin up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amid the controversy, Dash continues to pursue music. In June, he released 365, a rock album with his band The Black Guns and Philadelphia rapper Freeway<\/a>.
