Oscar Piastri disagreed with the Brazilian Grand Prix stewards after he was handed a 10-second time penalty.<\/p>\n
The Australian was adjudged to have caused a collision in an incident involving Kimi Antonelli and Charles Leclerc, with the Ferrari driver forced to retire from the race as a result.<\/p>\n
And Piastri, who eventually finished fifth, explained: \u201cIn my opinion, I had a very clear opportunity up the inside. Went for it. Yes, there was a lock-up, but I was firmly on the apex, on the white line. I couldn\u2019t go any further left, and I can\u2019t just disappear.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, the decision is what it is, was one of a number of difficult moments through today and this weekend.
