Two Trojans earned NCAA Singles bids, while a\u00a0second Trojan duo qualified for the upcoming\u00a0NCAA Doubles Championships in Orlando.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At the ITA DI Women&#8217;s West Sectional Championships in Seattle, freshman <a href=\"https:\/\/usctrojans.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/krisha-mahendran\/17867\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"17867\" target=\"_blank\">Krisha Mahendran<\/a> defeated Washington&#8217;s Alexia Jacobs and Kendall Kovick of BYU to reach the quarterfinals and secure her place in the NCAA Singles Championships. Junior <a href=\"https:\/\/usctrojans.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/immi-haddad\/17864\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"17864\" target=\"_blank\">Immi Haddad<\/a> took down Josie Usereau of Arizona, but fell in a third set tiebreaker to Washington&#8217;s Carter Reece in the Round of 16, short of NCAA qualification.\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nOn the doubles side, Mahendran paired up with NCAA singles qualifier\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/usctrojans.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/jana-hossam\/17865\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"17865\" target=\"_blank\">Jana Hossam<\/a>.\u00a0The duo upset the No. 1 seeded team in the Round of 16 and followed it up with a straight set victory to advance\u00a0to the semifinals and earn an\u00a0NCAA bid in the process.\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nFreshman Eugenia Zozyaya was the lone Trojan competing at the ITA Master&#8217;s event\u00a0in San Diego, Calif., where she stormed all the way to the final. The Oveido, Spain native did not drop\u00a0a single set in the first four rounds of the tournament. Despite falling in the final to Aysegul Mert (Georgia) 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (7-5), she too punched her ticket into the NCAA Championships.\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nAll in all, USC will send six players to the NCAA championships with <a href=\"https:\/\/usctrojans.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/emma-charney\/17862\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"17862\" target=\"_blank\">Emma Charney<\/a> and Hossam joining Mahendran and Zozaya on the singles side. In doubles, Mahendran and Hossam and <a href=\"https:\/\/usctrojans.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/lily-fairclough\/17863\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"17863\" target=\"_blank\">Lily Fairclough<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/usctrojans.com\/sports\/womens-tennis\/roster\/dani-borruel\/17868\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"17868\" target=\"_blank\">Dani Borruel<\/a> are all set to compete in the pairs competition.
