It wasn&#8217;t enough to force the 27-year-old from the game, however, as Alexander gutted through the injury to lead the Alouettes on a game-winning drive, with kicker Jose Maltos Diaz nailing the walk-off field goal.<\/p>\n<p>The Alouettes&#8217; quarterback owns a 13-0 record as a starter in the CFL. In 2025, he passed for 2024 yards and 10 touchdowns, while completing 72.4 per cent of his passes. <\/p>\n<p>After Montreal punched its ticket to the Grey Cup, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CFL\/status\/1987292920676745655?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1987292920676745655%7Ctwgr%5E8d770deb4a93fb6fe2f60ce3abfdccde8adf60ad%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.sportsnet.ca%2Fcfl%2Farticle%2Falouettes-advance-to-grey-cup-after-beating-tiger-cats-in-east-final%2F\" rel=\"nofollow\">Alexander said<\/a> there was &#8220;no doubt&#8221; he&#8217;d play in the biggest game of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Even if he&#8217;s not at 100 per cent, Alexander will put his perfect record on the line on Sunday against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Montreal Alouettes will have their No. 1 signal caller under centre at the Grey Cup.
