MINOT, N.D. \u2013 Minot State battled through 110 minutes of scoreless action before falling 3-0 in a penalty-kick shootout to Concordia-St. Paul in the first round of the NSIC Tournament on Monday night at Herb Parker Stadium.<\/p>\n

The match concludes the Beavers’ 2025 season, the first under head coach Chris Logan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How it Happened<\/p>\n

Neither team was able to find the back of the net through regulation or two 10-minute overtime periods, sending the game to a penalty shootout tied 0-0.<\/p>\n

In the shootout, Concordia-St. Paul converted three of its attempts while the Beavers were unable to score, allowing the Golden Bears to advance to the NSIC semifinals.<\/p>\n

\nHead coach Chris Logan<\/a> praised his team’s resilience and development after the hard-fought playoff match;\u00a0“It’s been a tremendous conference season! We were a joy to watch in the attack, and we grew massively as a group in our mentality showing resiliency, belief, and an ability to dig deeper,” said head coach Chris Logan<\/a>. “Thank you and congratulations on their wonderful careers and we are grateful for their contributions to a truly memorable season. Moving forward, we have a lot of returners and this program will always have high expectations that we will be chasing. Thank you to our fans and everyone who made this a great season!”<\/p>\n
