After breaking Netflix records as the the most-watched film<\/a> in the platform\u2019s history and dominating Halloween night<\/a> with fans everywhere dressing up as Rumi, Zoey and Mira, \u201cKPop Demon Hunters\u201d has made its way to music\u2019s biggest stage: the 68th Grammy Awards. <\/p>\n

The nominations, announced Friday, include the movie\u2019s breakout hit \u201cGolden,\u201d which earned nods for both song of the year and the best pop duo\/group performance categories. <\/p>\n

Currently sitting at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> after 19 weeks and counting on the chart, including eight weeks at No. 1, \u201cGolden\u201d was written by EJAE and Mark Sonnenblick and performed by artists EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Variety<\/a> after the nominations were anounced, EJAE admitted, \u201cI\u2019m not able to digest this time. I\u2019m still in shock.\u201d Nuna added the moment goes beyond music:<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re going to see three Korean faces. To think about the kids who are going to see that, and hopefully for that to shape their understanding of what they can do in this world, is the stuff that is giving me chills up my spine.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cGolden\u201d faces stiff competition from Lady Gaga\u2019s \u201cAbracadabra,\u201d Sabrina Carpenter\u2019s \u201cManchild,\u201d and Billie Eilish\u2019s \u201cWILDFLOWER,\u201d among others, for song of the year, as previously reported by the Deseret News<\/a>. <\/p>\n

In the best pop duo\/group performance, it will compete against Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande\u2019s \u201cDefying Gravity,\u201d KATSEYE\u2019s \u201cGabriela,\u201d ROS\u00c9 and Bruno Mars\u2019 \u201cAPT.\u201d and \u201c30 for 30\u2033 by SZA and Kendrick Lamar. <\/p>\n

What other K-pop groups have been nominated?<\/p>\n

This marks another major milestone for K-pop at the Grammys. Before the 2026 Grammy nominations, BTS was the only K-pop group ever recognized by the Recording Academy, earning three consecutive nominations for best pop duo\/group performance, but never taking home the trophy. <\/p>\n

BLACKPINK\u2019s ROS\u00c9 also made waves this year, scoring song of the year and record of the year nominations for \u201cAPT.\u201d alongside Bruno Mars. ROS\u00c9 becomes the first K-pop soloist in history to be nominated for a Grammy. <\/p>\n

Despite its growing popularity and recognition, no K-pop artist has won a Grammy, but that could change soon. <\/p>\n

I love when people are upset about the Grammy nominations to Golden saying \u201cHuntrix doesn\u2019t even exist\u201d and still they are fighting<\/p>\n
