I sure hope you\u2019ve got your brown pants on, because the latest single from U.K. metal motherfuckers Heriot \u201cCommander of Pain\u201d is so heavy you\u2019re gonna wonder who the hell shit in your britches. <\/p>\n
Released as a stand-alone track, Heriot guitarist and vocalist Debbie Gough said \u201cCommander of Pain\u201d is a callback to a bygone time of death metal yore.<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2018Commander of Pain\u2019 is an ode to 90\u2019s death metal. This is a song born of the inspiration we\u2019ve gained from playing live alongside many different genres of metal bands. We wanted to write a track paying tribute to our favourite aspects of heavy music.\u2019\u201d\n<\/p>\n
As it stands, Heriot is currently touring North America for the first time. They\u2019re currently out on support of Trivium and Jinjer. You can find the full list of tour dates for that run down below. The band also has plans to hit the road with SikTH for two special U.K. dates lined up for early 2026. You can find the dates for those as well.<\/p>\n
