The final international break of 2025 is upon us as 13 players head off to their nations, with many aiming to qualify for next summer’s World Cup.<\/p>\n

William Saliba could help France qualify for the finals for an eighth successive time as Les Bleus face Ukraine and Azerbaijan, needing just one win to reach the competition in the USA, Mexico and Canada.<\/p>\n

Fresh from scoring in our draw against Sunderland, Leandro Trossard could help steer Belgium to next summer’s showpiece event. Our number 19 netted in Belgium’s 4-2 win over Wales last month and a victory over Kazakhstan or Liechtenstein will be enough to punch their ticket for next year’s World Cup.<\/p>\n

We have a trio of Spanish stars in Luis de la Fuente’s side as they take on Georgia and Turkiye. Martin Zubimendi, David Raya and Mikel Merino, who has six goals in this qualifying campaign, have all been selected by La Roja, looking to continue their 100 per cent start in Group E.<\/p>\n

As well as three stars in the Spain squad, we also have three players in the England team with Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka all included in Thomas Tuchel’s side. The Three Lions have done the hard work in their group, winning every game to already guarantee their spot at next summer’s finals.<\/p>\n

They face Serbia and Albania in the final two matches, looking to finish Group K with a perfect record of eight wins in a row.<\/p>\n

Jurrien Timber will be hoping to join them next summer as the Netherlands seek one more victory to take them over the line. Timber’s nation head to Poland, knowing a win will be enough to qualify. The Dutch then host Lithuania in Amsterdam on the final matchday.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Christian Norgaard has been included in the Denmark squad for their remaining qualifiers. The Danes host bottom of the group Belarus before travelling to Hampden Park to face Scotland, in what could be a shootout for top spot and an automatic spot at the World Cup.<\/p>\n

There’s also a potential showdown between Riccardo Calafiori’s Italy and Norway, who will be without Martin Odegaard this break. Cala’s Italy head to Moldova before taking on the Norwegians in Milan, knowing they’ll need to win both fixtures by a big scoreline to have any chance of dislodging the Scandinavian side at the top of Group I.<\/p>\n

As for our South American stars, Gabriel will be playing at Emirates Stadium in one of two friendlies for Brazil this November. Carlo Ancelotti’s side have already booked their spot at the World Cup and will take on Senegal in N5 before heading to Lille to face Tunisia.<\/p>\n

Lastly, Piero Hincapie’s Ecuador, who have also qualified for World Cup 2026, are taking on Canada and New Zealand in two international friendlies.<\/p>\n
