KANSAS CITY, Mo.\u00a0– Keiser (Fla.) will defend the 2025 Red Banner from the top spot in 2026, as the Seahawks checked in at No. 1 in the 2025-26 NAIA Men’s Tennis Preseason Coaches’ Poll. Keiser collected nine first-place votes to three for No. 2 Georgia Gwinnett, the second-to-last team standing in last year’s championship.<\/p>\n
No. 3 Tennessee Wesleyan was one of two semifinalists from last year’s championship in the top five, joined by No. 4 Southeastern (Fla.), with five points separating the two. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) rounds out the top five at No. 5 after a second-round exit in the 2025 championship.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This week’s poll is the only fall poll of the 2025-26 season, with the first regular-season edition of the poll slated for\u00a0Wednesday, February 11.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tA panel of head coaches representing each conference and the Continental Athletic Conference (Independents) votes in the poll.
\n\tThe Top 25 teams are selected using a\u00a0points-based system:

\n\t\t30 points for a 1st-place vote, 29 for 2nd, 28 for 3rd, and so on.
\n\t
\n\t
\n\tThe\u00a0highest and lowest rankings\u00a0received by each team are\u00a0discarded\u00a0before final tallying.
