MOSCOW, Idaho \u2013 The Idaho Men’s Tennis team traveled to Spokane, Wash. to compete in the Gonzaga Fall Invitational.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Vandals came out on top in 2 draws in the singles white bracket. Xavier Martin took the West draw in the white bracket over Whitworth’s Matthew Froslan in a 6-3, 7-5 contest. Alongside Martin in the white bracket, Valentin Glasl<\/a> came out on top of the 3-4 playoff over Portland State’s Hampus Hagglund in a 6-0, 1-6, 1(10)-0(3) contest. \u00a0<\/p>\n In the singles blue bracket, Idaho’s Chetanna Amadike<\/a> advanced\u00a0all the way to the semi-finals before falling to\u00a0Washington’s Stephane Kamendje, who won the singles outright. Amadike turned around and took the 3-4 playoff against Portland State’s Luca Prino.\u00a0<\/p>\n In the doubles matches,\u00a0the tournament saw the Vandals at the top of multiple draws in the blue brackets.
