Over the years, the comedian has welcomed nine more children from four relationships<\/a>, including two kids with his wife, Paige Butcher, whom he wed in July 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I am so blessed with my kids<\/a>,” he said on Marc Maron\u2019s WTF podcast<\/a> in March 2021. “I don’t have one bad seed. I don’t have any like, ‘Oh, you are the one.’ I don’t have any of that. My kids are so great, normal people \u2014 and nobody is like the Hollywood jerk kid.”<\/p>\n

Throughout the years, Eric kept himself out of the spotlight until he started dating Martin Lawrence<\/a>‘s daughter, Jasmin<\/a>. The couple made their relationship public in June 2021 and eventually got engaged<\/a> in November 2024.<\/p>\n

Jasmin and Eric announced the happy news on Instagram<\/a>, writing, “We\u2019re engaged!! God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny. We couldn\u2019t be more excited for this next chapter.”<\/p>\n

She also has a few TV credits, having appeared on Hollywood Exes with her sister Bria and mother in 2014 and Claim to Fame season 2 in 2023.<\/p>\n

Following her elimination on Claim to Fame, Shayne spoke with PEOPLE about her famous dad<\/a>, saying he was very supportive of her decision to do the show.<\/p>\n

“He’s very trusting of my judgment,\u201d she said, adding that the Murphy family actually watched\u00a0Claim to Fame\u00a0together. \u201cHe’s been watching the show. We were just in Hawaii together and when we got in, my whole family watched it together. It was really cute. He’s really invested.”<\/p>\n

Though Eddie has achieved many successes in his career, Shayne noted \u201chis favorite thing is to just be around his kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

About a month after Max’s birth, Eddie’s daughter Bria introduced him to the world<\/a> via an Instagram post on Christmas. The family photo featured the comedian looking happy while standing in the center of the group as Butcher cradled their 3-week-old son.<\/p>\n
