Audi offered a glimpse into what it’s bringing to a Formula One track in 2026.<\/p>\n

The automaker unveiled<\/a> its livery concept Wednesday at an event in Munich. The colors were described as “titanium, carbon black and Audi red,” and Audi’s iconic four-ringed logo is featured throughout.<\/p>\n

Audi CEO Gernot Dollner laid out his lofty ambitions for the company’s foray into F1. He said this move “will be a catalyst for the change towards a leaner, faster and more innovative Audi.”<\/p>\n

Dollner set a tentative timeline for Audi to claim its first Formula One title as well.<\/p>\n

“We are not entering Formula 1 just to be there. We want to win,” he said. “At the same time, we know that you don’t become a top team in Formula 1 overnight.\u202f It takes time, perseverance and tireless questioning of the status quo. By 2030, we want to fight for the World Championship title.”<\/p>\n

This was years in the making, with Audi announcing<\/a> in 2022 its intention to replace Sauber on the Formula One circuit. <\/p>\n

Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico H\u00fclkenberg will be driving under the Audi banner during the team’s inaugural campaign.
