Former Los Angeles Sparks’<\/a> star Candace Parker<\/a>, who spent 13 seasons with L.A. and led the purple and gold to a WNBA championship in 2016, will be inducted<\/a> into the 2026 Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame class on June 27,\u00a0per an Oct. 30 announcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Parker joins WNBA icons<\/a> Elena Delle Donne and Cheryl Reeve in receiving the honor. ESPN announcer Doris Burke will also be inducted.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, on Nov. 1, the MLB’s\u00a0Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a>\u00a0won their second straight\u00a0World Series title<\/a>. Following the thrilling Game 7 victory, both the WNBA’s Sparks<\/a>\u00a0and star forward\u00a0Dearica Hamby<\/a>\u00a0shared support for their fellow L.A. team.<\/p>\n
