Rajamouli<\/a> has unveiled the first look of <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/priyanka-chopra-jonas\/\" id=\"auto-tag_priyanka-chopra-jonas\" data-tag=\"priyanka-chopra-jonas\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Priyanka Chopra Jonas<\/a> as Mandakini in his upcoming globe-trotting adventure film. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe film is described as \u201can original action-adventure epic following heroes on a series of perilous missions around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tEver since the global smash hit \u201cRRR\u201d claimed the Oscar for best original song and recalibrated Indian cinema\u2019s global ambition, Rajamouli has set his sights higher. The film unites the director with Telugu cinema superstar <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/mahesh-babu\/\" id=\"auto-tag_mahesh-babu\" data-tag=\"mahesh-babu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mahesh Babu<\/a> and welcomes international star Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Malayalam powerhouse <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/prithviraj-sukumaran\/\" id=\"auto-tag_prithviraj-sukumaran\" data-tag=\"prithviraj-sukumaran\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Prithviraj Sukumaran<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe title of the film will be revealed at a fan event in Hyderabad this weekend. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tRajamouli\u2019s earlier two-part \u201cBaahubali\u201d saga, re-edited as \u201cBaahubali: The Epic,\u201d landed this year as a single film.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tJonas returns to Indian cinema with a splash with Rajamouli\u2019s film, portraying the enigmatic Mandakini\u2019 in a first look that sees her in a mustard saree, pistol in hand, balanced on a cliff edge.\u00a0 Her recent credits include her Prime Video film \u201cHeads of State\u201d (2025), alongside Idris Elba and John Cena, and her short-film contribution to the Oscar-nominated \u201cAnuja.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tTelugu cinema superstar Mahesh Babu is working with Rajamouli for what is billed as his 29th film (hence the working title SSMB 29).\u00a0 His recent release, \u201cGuntur Kaaram\u201d (2024) was a box office success and now he\u2019s stepping into a much larger, globe-spanning canvas.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOriginating from Malayalam cinema, Prithviraj Sukumaran is now a pan-India star with film like \u201cSalaar\u201d and the \u201cLucifer\u201d franchise.
