Hundreds of rowing machines sold in Canada have been recalled over a potential fire hazard.<\/p>\n
Certain models of the NordicTrack rowing machines have been recalled by the health brand iFIT, as the screen console on the machine has the potential to \u201coverheat and ignite,\u201d according to a consumer product recall<\/a> posted Wednesday through Health Canada. <\/p>\n \u201cConsumers should immediately stop using and unplug the recalled rowing machines,\u201d according to the recall, adding that users can contact iFIT to arrange a free home repair in the form of a replacement screen console.<\/p>\n The recalled rowing machines are black, gray and white and have \u201cNordicTrack\u201d printed in black letters on the front legs of the machine. The back legs of the machine also have \u201cRW900\u201d printed in white letters.<\/p>\n The affected products have the following model numbers:<\/p>\n NTRW19147.0NTRW19147.1NTRW19147.2 NTRW19147.3<\/p>\n Consumers can identify the model number printed on a decal attached to the rower base. <\/p>\n NordicTrack reports that 700 units of the affected products were sold in Canada between November 2018 to April 2022.
