In a candid chat with Sania Mirza on Myntra\u2019s Glam Stream, the filmmaker said that if the film were made in the modern era, Alia Bhatt would play Anjali, Ranveer Singh<\/a> would be Rahul, and Ananya Panday<\/a> would step into Tina\u2019s role originally played by Rani Mukerji. He also playfully added that the role of Tina could easily go to Janhvi Kapoor or Sara Ali Khan, calling them part of the \u201cyounger nepo babies\u201d generation.<\/p>\n

He used to tell people, \u2018Mera beta bilkul director number 1 hai, Hindustan main kya, globally.\u2019 I used to feel so awkward. He was my fan. I was obsessed with his obsession with me. He would spoil me, but my mother would discipline me,\u201d Karan said.<\/p>\n
