Scenes from Atl\u00e9tico Ottawa’s 2-1 win over visiting Calgary on Sunday went viral on social media, with David Rodr\u00edguez’s incredible game-tying goal generating the bulk of the buzz.<\/p>\n
As snow fell heavily at TD Place Stadium in Ottawa, Rodr\u00edguez struck an overhead bicycle kick that hit the underside of the crossbar of the Cavalry goal and fell behind the goal line.<\/p>\n
The goal quickly became known online as the “icicle kick.”<\/p>\n
Rodr\u00edguez scored his second goal of the game in extra time to secure the dramatic victory for Atl\u00e9tico.<\/p>\n
