Musetti, who lost to Carlos Alcaraz in his final ATP Finals round-robin match yesterday, joins world No. 2 Jannik Sinner who had previously pulled out of the Davis Cup competition.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennisexpress.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><img loading=\"lazy\" data-lazyloaded=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"610\" height=\"130\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Early-Access-Sale-610x130-px.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-57922\"  data-\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Musetti cited fatigue from his extended play to qualify for the ATP Finals in Turin\u2014he played Athens and reached the final last Saturday losing to Novak Djokovic in a marathon match\u2014and the fact his long-time partner Veronica is pregnant and expecting the couple\u2019s second child as his primary reasons for withdrawing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGiven my physical condition and my family situation, in agreement with captain Filippo Volandri, I have decided not to participate in the Davis Cup finals in Bologna,\u201d said Musetti. \u201cObviously, there is a lot of regret and disappointment for how I came into this competition.
