The day after a tough loss by the Montreal Canadiens against the Dallas Stars, Martin St. Louis had announced a mandatory practice.<\/p>\n

We’re talking about a practice that was supposed to take place at 11:30 a.m. to address the situation after that 7-0 loss.<\/p>\n

Journalists and fans therefore showed up, but surprise!
The practice was cancelled at the very last second…<\/p>\n

The Montreal Canadiens ultimately decided to cancel today’s session<\/p>\n

We have no idea what might have caused this sudden change of plans – within just a few hours, no less – but note that the Habs players will therefore have no regular practice between the games against the Dallas Stars and the Boston Bruins (scheduled for tomorrow).<\/p>\n

That said, even though today’s practice was cancelled, it doesn’t mean it was a day off for the Tricolore players.<\/p>\n

“While only Demidov, Kapanen, Bolduc and Hutson are on the ice right now, the rest of the team is in Brossard doing off ice workout, this is not a day off.”<\/p>\n
