It&#8217;s worth noting the final number raised by the show, considering there were originally reports that Back To The Beginning raised a lot closer to $200 million.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent episode of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NcyG0XijNJA\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Osbournes podcast<\/a>, Sharon Osbourne talked a little about how ridiculous the original reports were: &#8220;If one show could have raised\u2026 I mean, [the articles were saying] it was up to, like 190 million. It&#8217;s, like, any artist, just do one big show, film it and you can retire just on one show. No, it was nowhere near, and I wish that it was, but we are living in reality, in the real world.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She continued: &#8220;It raised 11 [million]. But with the cost, &#8217;cause we paid the cost of bringing everybody in, everybody out, accommodation, everything. [And] no one got paid. Nobody asked for a penny. They gave their time, their efforts, everything for free. People were just \u2014 oh God \u2014 so generous.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In a Pollstar interview conducted on July 17, Sharon shot down the widely circulated claim that Back To The Beginning raised nearly $200 million (or 140 million pounds), calling the reports highly exaggerated and misleading.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One of the things that&#8217;s frightening me is all this false press about [how], we&#8217;ve made $140 million and all of this, and I&#8217;m like, God, I wish we could have, for one gig,&#8221; Sharon said. &#8220;It&#8217;s just ridiculous, the different stories. I went on the internet the next morning and it was like, $140 million, $160 million. And I&#8217;m like, Where does this stuff come from?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In that same episode, the Osbourne family also reflected on the death of Ozzy and even revealed that <a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/news\/sharon-osbourne-reveals-ozzy-was-hospitalized-two-weeks-before-back-to-the-beginning\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Back To The Beginning almost didn&#8217;t happen due to a hospitalization<\/a>.\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\t\tWant More Metal?
