Kysre Gondrezick has wowed fans with her latest Playboy shoot<\/p>\n
WNBA star Kysre Gondrezick has become the first black professional women’s basketball player to feature in Playboy after posing as a ‘Playmate’ in their recent edition.<\/p>\n
Gondrezick, who played for the Indiana Fever before Caitlin Clark<\/a> joined<\/a>, joined Chicago Sky alongside Angel Reese<\/a> in the 2024 season before being waived<\/a>. She did not play in the league this season, and has developed an extensive modelling career over the past few years. She has amassed over 590,000 followers on Instagram.<\/p>\n She was previously been with Boston Celtics<\/a> star Jaylen Brown, after dating NBA forward Kevin Porter Jr, who accepted a guilty verdict after he was accused of domestic violence against her.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Stephen Curry hints at next major career decision after Under Armour split<\/a>READ MORE: Washington Commanders ban fan for life after crazy move in front of Donald Trump security<\/a><\/p>\n Gondrezick posed for a series of shots in the shoot, which she shared to Instagram, and even went nude in a selection of photos.<\/p>\n The 28-year-old is seen leaning over a Mercedes with a basketball under her arms, with thousands commenting and hundreds of thousands liking the post.<\/p>\n She has been out of the league for the past year, while speaking on her future within the sport.<\/p>\n Content cannot be displayed without consent<\/p>\n She said: “What people label as a transition, I embody as evolution. I’m not stepping outside who I am. I’m building a multidimensional brand.<\/p>\n “Becoming a WNBA player and getting to that level, you put in a lot of work to get there. You have to put in even more work to stay there.”<\/p>\n Gondrezick had been a star at West Virginia before becoming the fourth overall pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft to the Fever, but lasted just one season before being waived.<\/p>\n She has since becoming a model, while appearing at New York Fashion Week and Victoria Secret Fashion Show’s in the past few years.<\/p>\n Speaking on her future in the sport, Gondrezick had previously stated that she will keep herself busy if she does not get another opportunity.<\/p>\n She said: “I am all over the place right now. I’m in acting classes, acting training. I’m getting ready to shoot some film work for 2025.
