\n\tAfter ridding the Mississippi Delta of vampires (and a few Klansmen) with Sinners<\/a>, Ryan Coogler<\/a> is ready to get back to Wakanda.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile speaking onstage Saturday during the Sinners panel<\/a> at Deadline\u2019s Contenders Film: Los Angeles, the two-time Oscar nominee confirmed to Deadline\u2019s Mike Fleming Jr. that Black Panther 3<\/a> is his \u201cnext movie\u201d as he is hard at work completing the MCU<\/a> trilogy that kicked off with Chadwick Boseman<\/a> in 2018.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf it was anybody but you, I would say, \u2018I can neither confirm or deny,’\u201d teased Coogler. \u201cBut we\u2019re working on it hard. \u2026 Yeah, it\u2019s the next movie.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn November 2024, Denzel Washington let it slip that he is being considered for a role in the third installment of Black Panther<\/a>. During an interview in Australia promoting Gladiator II, he said that Coogler was \u201cwriting a part for me<\/a>,\u201d which the director has since confirmed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tBoseman first played the role of T\u2019Challa, appearing in 2016\u2019s Captain America: Civil War, followed by the Black Panther feature film in 2018. The actor reprised the superhero role in 2018\u2019s Avengers: Infinity War and 2019\u2019s Avengers: Endgame.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter Boseman died of colon cancer in August 2020, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was released in 2022 and dedicated to his memory.
