{"id":286270,"date":"2025-11-16T07:00:13","date_gmt":"2025-11-16T07:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/286270\/"},"modified":"2025-11-16T07:00:13","modified_gmt":"2025-11-16T07:00:13","slug":"nearly-2500-trucks-recalled-in-canada-for-safety-risk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/286270\/","title":{"rendered":"Nearly 2,500 trucks recalled in Canada for safety risk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"b-date-custom__date-item\">Updated:\u00a0November 15, 2025 at 12:54PM EST<\/p>\n<p class=\"b-date-custom__date-item\">Published:\u00a0November 15, 2025 at 12:51PM EST<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Transport Canada has announced an <a href=\"https:\/\/wwwapps.tc.gc.ca\/Saf-Sec-Sur\/7\/VRDB-BDRV\/search-recherche\/detail.aspx?lang=eng&amp;rn=2025610\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/wwwapps.tc.gc.ca\/Saf-Sec-Sur\/7\/VRDB-BDRV\/search-recherche\/detail.aspx?lang=eng&amp;rn=2025610\">updated recall<\/a> of nearly 2,500 trucks made by Daimler Truck North America due to a safety risk that could lead to a crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The recall issued by the automotive industry manufacturer of commercial vehicles was first announced on Nov. 4 and later updated on Nov. 13.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cOn certain trucks, the fasteners for the axle clamp(s) may not have been tightened properly.
