\n\tWhile it seemed like Sophie Trudeau already gave her insight<\/a> into how she\u2019s dealt with the news of her ex-husband Justin Trudeau<\/a> dating Katy Perry<\/a>, it seems she\u2019s putting it all out on the line. While on Arlene Is Alone: The Single Life, via DailyMail<\/a>, Sophie talked about how she goes about all the scrutiny and hearing about all sorts of news, saying she\u2019s learned to \u201clisten to the music, not the noise.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSophie said, \u201cWe\u2019re human beings and stuff affects us. That\u2019s normal. How you react to stuff is your decision\u2026 The woman I want to become through this is my decision. Does it mean that I don\u2019t have emotions? That I don\u2019t cry, scream, laugh? No. Especially that I\u2019m a super tender heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSo it seems she\u2019s definitely feeling the emotions that come with it, but she\u2019s learning to focus on herself and her new era.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs for Trudeau, he split up with his wife of nearly 20 years, Sophie Gr\u00e9goire<\/a>, back in Aug 2023; and has kept very private with his dating life since. (Sophie and Justin knew each other as children, but later reconnected as adults in June 2003. They married in 2005 and welcomed three kids.)<\/p>\n

\n\tPerry and Trudeau started reportedly dating after a July 28 date night in Montreal, and Trudeau attended Perry\u2019s Lifetimes <\/a>Tour in Montreal on July 29. (However, per The US Sun<\/a>, they first met at an unnamed event a few weeks before their first date<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n\tThen, on October 11, the Daily Mail<\/a> obtained photos of Trudeau and Perry kissing<\/a> aboard Perry\u2019s 24-meter yacht in Santa Barbara, California.\u00a0Weeks after that, in late Oct 2025, they made their first official outing as a couple at Perry\u2019s birthday party in Paris!<\/p>\n
