Music NL handed out hardware to dozens of musicians and groups as part of its awards night in St. John\u2019s.<\/p>\n
The ceremony capped off a week of music spotlight, with shows throughout St. John\u2019s, including its awards gala with the Irish Descendants, Nuck Earle and the Reckless Hearts and Mallor Johnson.<\/p>\n
Musician Justin Fancy took home the VOCM Fan Choice Entertainer of the Year Award and says music has helped him travel throughout Newfoundland and Labrador to do what he loves \u2013 play music.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a great feeling, I gotta say. This stuff never gets old for me,\u201d he told VOCM News.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m just happy to be part of the music community here in Newfoundland and Labrador, and of course in Canada. I believe we have so much talent here, so it\u2019s always great to be recognized for that stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n
