Christine \u201cCricket\u201d Blair and Danny Romalotti are saying \u201cI do\u201d again \u2014 because in Genoa City, true love always deserves an encore<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Lauralee Bell and Michael Damian sat down with Soaps.com ahead of their characters\u2019 highly anticipated wedding on The Young and the Restless. They promise that the second walk down the aisle is \u201cbeautiful,\u201d \u201cheartfelt,\u201d filled with \u201ca lot of emotion,\u201d and, of course, \u201cdrama.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no drama,\u201d whispers Bell to Damian.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, believe me, it\u2019s always drama,\u201d he replies. \u201cWhen has there been a wedding with no drama?\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Lauralee<\/p>\n

\u201cIt could not be what you expect,\u201d she teases. \u201cThere are multiple dramas, and a few of them aren\u2019t what you would expect. So that\u2019s good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cricket and Danny\u2019s second chance at love has been over 30 years in the making, and for once, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is finally out of the way<\/a>. However, the duo has faced numerous other challenges over the decades, and Bell believes it was the couple\u2019s diverging interests that often got in the way of their relationship \u2014 a lawyer and a rock star\u2019s lives don\u2019t always align.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve seen so many episodes about how much you were studying,\u201d Damian recalls. \u201cAnd I would tease her and torture her, which was really fun. She was on the couch, reading the law books. I\u2019m like, \u2018You need a break.\u2019 We were both really career-driven.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAny girl would have been like, \u2018Lawyer, who cares? I\u2019m going on tour with my man, right? No, no, I have to stay home.\u2019 And maybe that\u2019s what kept you interested all these years,\u201d notes Bell. \u201cBecause all these women were throwing themselves at you.<\/a> But Cricket was like, \u2018I have my law books.’\u201d<\/p>\n

She continues, \u201cNow, Cricket is fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s on tour,\u201d Damian chimes in.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why we\u2019re getting remarried,\u201d laughs Bell.<\/p>\n

The upcoming wedding will also be a satisfying opportunity for viewers to see Cricket and Danny\u2019s love story come full circle as she marries her \u201cfirst love\u201d\u2026 again. But it\u2019s also a sweet moment for Damian and Bell.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very out of Cricket\u2019s comfort zone to throw caution to the wind and just say, \u2018I\u2019m going on this journey,’\u201d Bell explains. \u201cAnd I think it\u2019s been very good, very freeing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cricket and Danny\u2019s happily-ever-after wedding will air on The Young and the Restless on Friday, Nov. 21, and Monday, Nov. 24.<\/p>\n
