Antoine Semenyo has a \u00a365million release clause in his Bournemouth<\/a> contract, which could leave Liverpool<\/a> and Manchester United<\/a> licking their lips. After finding himself linked with both clubs this summer, Semenyo committed his future to the Cherries.<\/p>\n However, despite signing a new deal which should keep him at the Vitality Stadium until 2030, he could find himself on the move as early as January due to a new revelation.<\/p>\n As per The Athletic<\/a>, the Ghanaian’s new contract holds a \u00a365m release clause, which any club can trigger. It’s said that Bournemouth have reluctantly ‘accepted’ that his future is out of their hands, and a January move could be possible.<\/p>\n The report also details how Semenyo was valued at around \u00a370m this summer, with his release clause allowing interested parties to secure his services for marginally cheaper come January. When pressed by Jamie Redknapp about his future recently, the Ghana international responded: “I don’t think about it too much.<\/p>\n “I try to stay present as much as I can. You see the news all the time, I see it as well, I’m not oblivious, but I try to keep focused.<\/p>\n “I’m enjoying my football here. If I’m not scoring goals, all of that goes away. I try to stay present, do the best I can for the team, score goals and whatever happens in the future happens.<\/p>\n “When they [his former team-mates] all left [in the summer], there was a lot of interest and back and forth with the club. But I knew in my head that the manager’s got something up his sleeve this year.<\/p>\n “How we finished off the season last year was so good and we could continue, especially with the players we’ve bought in as well. I wasn’t too sure at the start but we’ve kicked on like a house on fire. I’m glad I committed to staying here because I’m enjoying every moment.”<\/p>\n After bagging an impressive tally of 13 goals across all competitions last season, Semenyo found himself at the heart of speculation surrounding a transfer to United or Liverpool, while Tottenham<\/a> also showed an interest. In the end, United snapped up Bryan Mbeumo<\/a>, Matheus Cunha<\/a> and Benjamin Sesko<\/a>, while Liverpool welcomed the likes of Florian Wirtz<\/a>, Alexander Isak<\/a> and Hugo Ekitike<\/a>.<\/p>\n Spurs also snapped up Mohammed Kudus in a \u00a355m deal<\/a> with West Ham United<\/a>.
