Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders’ home was broken into during Sunday’s 23-16 loss against the Baltimore Ravens, a team spokesman told Front Office Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sanders made his NFL debut in the loss, replacing Dillon Gabriel in the second half after the starter was ruled out with a concussion.<\/p>\n

It was a tough first appearance for Sanders, who finished 4-of-16 for 47 yards, no touchdowns, one interception and two sacks taken. He clearly struggled with Baltimore’s pressure.<\/p>\n

It appears he’ll get another crack at it on Sunday, however, with Cabot reporting he’s expected to get the start as Gabriel recovers from his concussion:<\/p>\n

That should allow him a week of practice with the first-team unit, something he hasn’t had all season (which is standard operating procedure for backups across the NFL and something Sanders noted in his press conference after the game).<\/p>\n

“I don’t think I played good,” he told reporters. “I don’t think I played good at all. I think it’s a lot of things we need to look at during the week and go and just get comfortable. Throwing routes with Jerry [Jeudy], throwing routes with all those guys. I think that was my first ball to him all year. I just think overall we’ve got to go to next week and understand, so we have a week to prepare stuff I like to do.”<\/p>\n

Time will tell how Sanders handles his first NFL start.
