The biggest effort from the league was the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Articles\/2025\/10\/17\/nba-adds-tap-to-watch-feature-for-leagueteampartner-sites-to-aid-game-discoverability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">implementation of a new \u201cTap to Watch\u201d call-to-action initiative<\/a>, which is essentially a button directing fans to live games.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-media \">How is the effort working thus far? Well, the NBA tells me that the effort \u201ccontinues to exceed expectations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-media \">A month into the season, league data shows that \u201cTap to Watch\u201d has referred fans to more than 4 million live game streams. National games across ABC\/ESPN, Prime Video and NBC\/Peacock have made up 75% of that engagement. There also have been hundreds of thousands of referrals to live games per day driven by partners such as Google, social media platforms and the NBA App. Specifically, the real-time vertical in-progress highlights within Google Stories has helped serve as a catalyst into live-game action with \u201cGo to Game\u201d buttons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-media \">The top example thus far was for the Oct. 24 T\u2019Wolves-Lakers game on Prime Video. Luka Don\u010di\u0107 scored 49 points, and \u201cTap to Watch\u201d directed more fans to that game than any other matchup so far this season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-media \">\u201cTap to Watch\u201d also has been deployed with some NBA creators. One example was the creator <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/jesser\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jesser<\/a>, who sent thousands of fans to games from his channels earlier in November. Last Friday for the Heat-Knicks game, there was even a creator watch party atv NBA HQ in Manhattan, with over 40 individuals leveraging \u201cTap to Watch\u201d on their social channels<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-media \">Next up for \u201cTap to Watch\u201d?
