{"id":290387,"date":"2025-11-18T05:28:12","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T05:28:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/290387\/"},"modified":"2025-11-18T05:28:12","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T05:28:12","slug":"cabbagetown-indecent-act-suspect-charged","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/290387\/","title":{"rendered":"Cabbagetown indecent act suspect charged"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto police have arrested and charged a man who was wanted in connection with an indecent act investigation in Toronto\u2019s Cabbagetown area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The incident happened on Nov. 11 near Wellesley and Sumach streets, east of Parliament Street. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto police said they were called to that area at about 3:45 p.m. for reports of an indecent act.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Investigators say a 10-year-old boy was walking in the area when the suspect approached on a scooter and allegedly committed an indecent act.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The victim and suspect are not known to each other, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police say the accused committed indecent acts against four other victims between May and November 2025. One victim was a child under the age of 13 years, two were young people under the age of 18 years, and one was an adult, they said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">On Nov. 15, Tyson Dante Tobias Macfarlane, 20, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with one count of fail to appear in court, two counts of FTC &#8211; release order, four counts expose genitals to person under 16 for sexual purpose, and five counts each of commit indecent act in public place and breach of probation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He was scheduled to appear in bail court on Nov. 16.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police believe there may be more victims.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/5LRWV65EEBCLDB6GMESS2M5HTM.jpeg\"  width=\"800\" height=\"450\"\/>Cabbagetown indecent act suspect An image of a suspect wanted in connection with an indecent act investigation in Cabbagetown.
