After Premier Tech made its announcement, rumours swirled about its future.<\/p>\n
The company said the decision followed \u201cmultiple discussions with the team and careful assessment of all relevant circumstances.\u201d In a statement, Premier Tech said the move \u201covershadowed\u201d the core reasons it had originally chosen to sponsor the squad, making continued support \u201cuntenable.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Gazzetta dello Sport\u2019s Ciro Scognamiglio, Premier Tech<\/a> suggested it could become the co-sponsor of Mathieu van der Poel\u2019s Alpecin\u2013Deceuninck team.
