A knack for making incredible, one-handed interceptions.<\/p>\n
Carter drew national attention for an interception he made during his collegiate days, during his time at Robert Morris University. In a game against Utah State in August of 2024, Carter made this incredible, one-handed interception near the end of the first half:<\/p>\n
The interception even made it to \u201cGood Morning America.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Carter signed with the BC Lions in May of 2025, after going undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft<\/a>. Carter attended attend rookie minicamp with the Baltimore Ravens<\/a>, but was not signed by the team. He earned a spot with the Lions and was in action Sunday night as the Lions took on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.<\/p>\n That\u2019s when Carter did something that might be familiar to Robert Morris fans:<\/p>\n Similar to the play against Utah State, Carter sticks on a receiver running a vertical route and hauls in an incredible, one-handed interception to prevent the big play.<\/p>\n This stunning interception is worth every replay angle:<\/p>\n BC lost the game by a final score of 37-33.<\/p>\n But their rookie defensive back might be back on \u201cGood Morning America\u201d tomorrow morning as a consolation prize.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"As a defensive back, Robert Carter Jr. has a certain knack.
