The UFC makes its debut in Doha, Qatar, on Saturday, November 22 for a solid UFC Qatar card. The main event sees top lightweight contenders throw down, as Arman Tsarukyan<\/a> takes on Dan Hooker<\/a>.<\/p>\n UFC Qatar: MMA Betting Picks and Odds Insight<\/p>\n Below, I’ll share my UFC Qatar predictions, including my favorite pick, an underdog, a prop and a two-fighter parlay. All UFC odds<\/a> are via the DraftKings Sportsbook and are accurate as of the post date of this article.\u00a0<\/p>\n Weight Class: Heavyweight<\/p>\n Shamil Gaziev<\/a> (14-1) vs. Serghei Spivac<\/a> (17-6)<\/p>\n On the main card of UFC Qatar, an intriguing heavyweight bout goes down, as Shamil Gaziev<\/a> takes on Serghei Spivac<\/a>. I like Gaziev to get his hand raised.<\/p>\n Spivac is on a two-fight losing streak and hasn’t looked all that good as of late. His chin is a bit of a concern, and Gaziev is a great striker with plenty of power.<\/p>\n I like Gaziev to be able to keep this fight standing, as he has an 83 percent takedown defense. On the feet, Gaziev has plenty of power, and Spivac has a negative striking differential. So, I like Gaziev to land the big shots and likely get a TKO win here.<\/p>\n UFC Qatar Bet: Shamil Gaziev<\/a> (-142)<\/p>\n Cash in on the best sportsbook promos<\/a> available for MMA betting<\/a>. The BetMGM bonus code<\/a> gets new players one of the best welcome bonuses in the industry.<\/p>\n Weight Class: Flyweight<\/p>\n Kyoji Horiguchi<\/a> (34-5) vs. Tagir Ulanbekov<\/a> (17-2)<\/p>\n For my underdog pick at UFC Qatar, I’m taking Kyoji Horiguchi<\/a> to defeat Tagir Ulanbekov<\/a>.<\/p>\n Horiguchi is returning to the UFC after his run in Bellator and RIZIN, and it’s a surprise he’s buried on the prelims. On top of that, he’s a big underdog here.<\/p>\n Horiguchi is older, but he’s still a great fighter. To me, I haven’t been impressed with Ulanbekov and believe this is a closer to a pick’em. Ulanbekov is a great wrestler, but Horiguchi has good takedown defense and scrambles, as I like Horiguchi to be able to keep it standing and be more active on the feet to edge out a decision win.<\/p>\n This will be a very close fight, but to get +170 on Horiguchi makes it a must-play for me.<\/p>\n UFC Qatar Bet: Kyoji Horiguchi<\/a> (+170)<\/p>\n Check out DraftKings to bet on <\/a>MMA Odds<\/a> and use the <\/a>DraftKings promo code<\/a> for a great welcome offer.<\/p>\n Weight Class: Light heavyweight<\/p>\n Volkan Oezdemir<\/a> (20-8) vs. Alonzo Menifield<\/a> (17-5-1)<\/p>\n For my prop at UFC Qatar, I’m taking the light heavyweight scrap between Volkan Oezdemir<\/a> and Alonzo Menifield<\/a> to go under 2.5 rounds.<\/p>\n Oezdemir is fighting for the first time in a year and takes on Menifield. Both fighters have a ton of power, while their chins are also a concern.\u00a0<\/p>\n Menifield is stepping up in competition, and the last time he stepped up, was against Carlos Ulberg<\/a> and Azamat Murzakanov<\/a>, and he got knocked out in the first and second rounds, respectively. I like Oezdemir to be able to TKO Menifield early here, but taking the under 2.5 rounds is the safer way, as there is a chance Oezdemir gets cracked early.<\/p>\n UFC Qatar Bet: Volkan Oezdemir<\/a>–Alonzo Menifield<\/a> under 2.5 rounds (-154)<\/p>\n Check out on one of the top sports betting apps<\/a> when you sign up with the FanDuel promo code<\/a> for all of your MMA betting.<\/p>\n Weight Class: Featherweight & Lightweight<\/p>\n Luke Riley<\/a> (11-0) vs. Bogdan Grad<\/a> (15-3) For my parlay at UFC Qatar, I’m taking Luke Riley<\/a> and Arman Tsarukyan<\/a> to get their hands raised on Saturday.<\/p>\n Riley is making his UFC debut and is a top prospect, and this is a great fight for him to get a big win here. Grad is coming off a loss last time out, and on top of that, Riley has plenty of power. I like the latter to land the better shots and get a TKO win here, as this is set up for him to get an early win and make a statement.<\/p>\n To close out the parlay, I’m taking Tsarukyan to defeat Hooker in the main event. Tsarukyan hasn’t fought since April of 2024, when he defeated Charles Oliveira<\/a>, as he dealt with a back injury. This is a great matchup for him, as he should be able to take Hooker down at will and likely get a submission win.<\/p>\n Hooker has struggled against wrestlers and being held down, and Tsarukyan is the real deal.
