Tyler Reif, who is just 18 years old, has signed a deal to run the majority of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule in 2026. He will drive the No. 42 Niece Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado. He made his Truck debut with Niece at the Phoenix finale, earning a top ten finish in his first outing.<\/p>\n
“I\u2019m so thankful to everyone at Niece Motorsports for this opportunity to race more for them next year,” said Reif.\u00a0“Making my debut in Phoenix was a dream come true, and I feel like all of the guys and I connected pretty quickly. Now that we have a larger schedule planned ahead of us, I look forward to racing on all types of tracks that I\u2019ve never been to before. We all\u00a0are already working to prepare for next year, and I can\u2019t wait for our first race together.”<\/p>\n
Reif made his ARCA debut when he was just 15, and won the race. That impressive showing also came at Phoenix. He has made a total of 12 ARCA starts, scoring four top fives and seven top tens along with the victory. This year, he ended the 2025 ARCA East season as the championship runner-up, and was previously the ARCA West runner-up in both 2023 and 2024. Reif also won three races as an ARCA West driver.<\/p>\n
“Tyler proved to us all that he was ready to run more races after his\u00a0performance in Phoenix,” said Cody Efaw, President & CEO for Niece. “I was impressed by his ability to learn\u00a0as the race weekend went on, and his feedback to the\u00a0team steered them in the right direction.
