The Earnhardt name will forever be linked with NASCAR, with a fourth-generation budding star now set for his first full-time season in the ARCA Menards Series. And we’re not talking about the 14-year-old champion.<\/a><\/p>\n

An announcement was made on Wednesday that Bobby Dale, the grandson of the late seven-time Cup Series<\/a> champion Dale Sr., will be representing Rise Motorsports next season.<\/p>\n

Bobby, 38, is the son of Kerry, Dale Sr.\u2019s eldest child from his first marriage to Latane Brown. Dale Sr. and Latane divorced after just a year of marriage. The NASCAR icon went on to marry twice more and father three more children, Kelley and Dale Jr.<\/a>, with Brenda Jackson, and Taylor with his widow, Teresa Houston.<\/p>\n

But Bobby\u2019s NASCAR lineage doesn\u2019t just go back to Dale Sr., Dale Jr., and his dad, Kerry, all of whom raced in the Cup Series, but to his great-grandfather, Ralph. He competed in 51 Cup Series races between 1956 and 1964, and would go on to be named one of NASCAR\u2019s 75 Greatest Drivers, alongside both Dale Sr. and Dale Jr.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity with Rise Motorsports,\u201d Bobby said in a statement<\/a>. \u201cThis team believes in what we can accomplish, and that fires me up. We’re building something strong for 2026, and I can’t wait to hit the track and show what this group is capable of.\u201d<\/p>\n

He later took to social media to expand upon his excitement following the announcement, calling<\/a> this \u201ca huge opportunity for me, and I\u2019m thankful for God\u2019s direction throughout the process of making this happen.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to give a big thank you to everyone at Rise Motorsports. The work this team has already put in, the belief they\u2019ve shown in me, and the vision they have for the upcoming season mean a lot. I\u2019m proud to be a part of what they\u2019re building.<\/p>\n

Bobby joins Rise with plenty of experience, having made seven Xfinity Series appearances for MBM Motorsports between 2017 and 2019, along with three in ARCA in 2017 and a further two with Rise this past season.<\/p>\n

Rise team owner Tim Goulet also shared in Bobby\u2019s excitement, stating, \u201cWe’re thrilled to have Bobby join our program for the 2026 season. He’s hungry, he’s focused, and he connects with fans in a way that fits perfectly with the vision of our team. This is a big move for Rise Motorsports, and we’re ready to take the next step together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bobby will be looking to emulate the remarkable success of reigning ARCA champion Brenden Queen, who won eight of 20 races this past season with Pinnacle Racing Group, finishing in the top five a further nine times.
