\t\t\t\t\tPer NHL analyst Cam Robinson, there are a few teams that could be on the radar for Steven Stamkos<\/a> if the spiraling Nashville Predators decide to trade him if they keep struggling.<\/p>\n Almost nothing has gone right for former Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos, who left the only franchise he’d ever played for last summer and signed with the Nashville Predators on a four year deal.<\/p>\n He only scored 27 goals in his first year in Nashville after finishing with 40 goals the previous year with the Lightning, and he only has four goals right now in 20 games, which is a pace of just 16 goals.<\/p>\n He’s currently embroiled in trade rumours, and per analyst Cam Robinson, there are a handful of teams who could be on the radar<\/a> to look for a Stamkos trade.<\/p>\n If he did leave, the first preference would be to go to somewhere with a warmer climate, and so the first thing you think of is Florida Panthers but the other one I was thinking about too is Anaheim, they have cap space, they have a very very young team, but the one I was told has maybe even more than just kicked the tires on Stamkos is the Toronto Maple Leafs. – Cam Robinson<\/p>\n Stamkos is under contract through 2028 with an AAV (average annual value) of $8 million, a portion of which the Predators would likely have to retain if they traded him.<\/p>\n Steven Stamkos Has Not Worked Out In Nashville<\/p>\n The Predators thought they put together a bonafide Stanley Cup team last summer after giving the Vancouver Canucks a scare in the WCQF.<\/p>\n They signed Stamkos from the Lightning and Jonathan Marchessault<\/a>, only a year removed from the Conn Smythe Trophy with the Vegas Golden Knights, and defenseman Brady Skjei<\/a>.<\/p>\n But Nashville started last year 0-5 and never fully recovered.
