Conor Benn says he won\u2019t fight Terence Crawford at 160 or 168. He states that he heard that Crawford wanted to fight the winner of his fight against Chris Eubank Jr. last Saturday night, on November 15th. This means Crawford could be targeting Benn in his next fight.<\/p>\n

\u2018Not Doing 160\u2019 \u2014 Benn Draws the Line<\/p>\n

Crawford might not be willing to melt down to 154 to face Benn. If a fight between them is going to happen, it would have to be at or near 160. Terence already said that he won\u2019t return to 154. So, if Benn wants that payday against Crawford, he might be forced to return to 160. What a pity if this gem doesn\u2019t come to pass.<\/p>\n

Benn (24-1, 14 KOs) defeated Eubank Jr. by a 12-round unanimous decision in their rematch at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The victory by Conor, the son of the famous British fighter, Nigel Benn, has put him in the position to pick and choose who he wants next.<\/p>\n

I heard it from a source that he wanted the winner of me and Eubank,\u201d said Conor Benn to Ariel Helwani\u2019s YouTube channel<\/a> about Terence Crawford saying he wanted to fight the winner of his November 15th fight against Chris Eubank Jr.<\/p>\n

Weight Standoff Kills the Superfight<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not doing 168 or 160,\u201d said Benn about him not having any interest in fighting Crawford above 154.<\/p>\n

Given that Turki Alalshikh has been financing the last couple of fights for Crawford, it would make financial sense for Benn to take a little hit to return to 160 if that\u2019s the only way he can get that match. Fighting Crawford would be a massive payday if Turki is going to be involved.<\/p>\n

Benn might be thinking about easier paydays he can get by fighting one of these names:<\/p>\n
