Ahead of Pantone’s unveiling of its Color of the Year 2026, a leaker has already spilled the beans. However, Pantone’s partner, Motorola, already launched a device in the same color several months ago.<\/p>\n

Motorola and Pantone have been partners for years, as the phone brand is known for launching its smartphones in Pantone colors, including the Pantone Color of the Year. Now, a leaker has revealed the Pantone Color of the Year 2026, thus disclosing the main color Motorola is expected to use for some of its devices. <\/p>\n

In a post made on X, popular leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) has revealed that the Pantone Color of the Year 2026 is called \u201cLightest Sky\u201d. The leak follows a similar pattern to one from last year<\/a>, where the leaker revealed the Pantone Color of the Year 2025, which is Mocha Mousse. Shortly after that leak, Pantone officially announced the color, and Motorola followed with the launch of two smartphones in the new hue<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, this year is quite interesting, and that’s because Motorola already has a smartphone in Lightest Sky. That device is the Motorola Razr 60<\/a> a.k.a Motorola Razr 2025 (curr. available on Amazon for $599.99<\/a>), released in April 2025. It is unusual for Pantone’s Color of the Year to already be in use several months ahead of its announcement, but based on this leak, that appears to be the case.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, we expect Pantone to unveil the color before the end of the year. There’s also a chance that Motorola will announce some of its existing smartphones or new models in Pantone Lightest Sky following Pantone’s announcement.<\/p>\n
