Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation announced its Grey Cup 50\/50 winner Tuesday.<\/p>\n

According to its website, Wade Gasmo won the 50\/50 prize payout was $1,002,553. Riders head coach Corey Mace called Gasmo to break the news to him after the draw was completed 1 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium.<\/p>\n

The total jackpot was $2,005,107.<\/p>\n

According to the foundation\u2019s website, this is the \u201clargest 50\/50 jackpot in CFL history\u201d which they \u201ccould not have done it without the best fans in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Early Bird Prize of a trip to Portugal and Spain or $13,500 cash went to James Holland.<\/p>\n

Shawn Steele won the loyalty prize of Riders jersey and two game tickets.<\/p>\n

Deborah Johnson won the loyalty prize of $1,000.<\/p>\n

Grey Cup 50\/50 ticket buyers overcharged hundreds of dollars<\/p>\n

Some fans said they experienced technology issues when trying to buy the 50\/50 tickets. They received multiple error messages<\/a> and ended up being overcharged.<\/p>\n

The system wasn\u2019t able to handle the influx of people trying to buy tickets, according to the foundation\u2019s emailed statement.<\/p>\n
