\n\tKevin Spacey<\/a> announced in an interview with The Telegraph<\/a>\u00a0that he is officially homeless after his Hollywood film career came crashing down amid various sexual assault allegations.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m living in hotels, I\u2019m living in Airbnbs,\u201d the two-time Oscar winner said. \u201cI\u2019m going where the work is. I literally have no home, that\u2019s what I\u2019m attempting to explain\u2026 The costs over these last seven years have been astronomical. I\u2019ve had very little coming in and everything going out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSpacey fought back tears during an interview on \u201cPiers Morgan Uncensored\u201d<\/a> in June 2024 when he first disclosed that his home in Baltimore, Maryland was going into foreclosure because he \u201cowed millions\u201d in legal fees due to various sexual assault claims against him. Spacey had been living in the city since \u201cHouse of Cards\u201d started production in 2012. He was fired from the show by Netflix in 2017 due to alleged sexually inappropriate behavior on set.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m not sure where I am going to live now\u2026\u00a0I can\u2019t pay the bills that I owe,\u201d Spacey told Morgan at the time.<\/p>\n

\n\tSince claims of Spacey\u2019s alleged sexual assaults and inappropriate behavior first arose in the wake of the #MeToo movement in 2017, several legal cases have been brought against him. A jury in New York concluded in 2022 that Spacey did not molest actor Anthony Rapp, who had accused him of sexual assault in the early 1980s when Rapp was 14. The next year, a U.K. court found Spacey not guilty of nine charges of sexual assault from four complainants. Several other charges and lawsuits have been dropped. Spacey has denied all the allegations.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe are in touch with some extremely powerful people who want to put me back to work,\u201d Spacey told The Telegraph<\/a>\u00a0about returning to high-profile acting gigs. \u201cAnd that will happen in its right time. But I will also say what I think the industry seems to be waiting for is to be given permission \u2014 by someone who is in some position of enormous respect and authority.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSo, my feeling is if Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino call [my manager, Evan Lowenstein] tomorrow, it will be over,\u201d he added. \u201cI will be incredibly honored and delighted when that level of talent picks up the phone.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tVarious actors spoke to The Telegraph<\/a> last year and championed Spacey\u2019s return to Hollywood.
