Brock Lesnar is banned from WWE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The former UFC heavyweight champion was pulled from the 2024 Royal Rumble and scrubbed from future storylines after being named in the trafficking lawsuit<\/a> brought against former WWE CEO Vince McMahon. That said, the 48 year-old NCAA Division-1 national champion out of Minnesota remains listed on the promotion\u2019s website<\/a> with celebratory praise like \u201cGlory to The Conqueror\u201d with acknowledgment that Lesnar \u201cforced his way to the top.\u201d<\/p>\n

Probably not the best choice of words considering his current legal \u201ctrouble.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s not allowed [to compete] and the lawyers won\u2019t let him do it,\u201d wrestling insider Dave Meltzer said on his Wrestling Observer Radio<\/a> (transcribed by Wrestling Inc.<\/a>). \u201cI don\u2019t know if there\u2019s anything … I mean, people have been talking about it. But this has been the same thing since the Janel Grant lawsuit has been filed, as far as I know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Grant\u2019s lawsuit remains active with a new development surfacing against McMahon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s up to the lawyers,\u201d Meltzer continued. \u201cIf the lawyers say it\u2019s okay, they\u2019ll bring him in tomorrow. But obviously, their belief is he shouldn\u2019t be on their TV \u2014 It\u2019s been that way for a year and a half. I mean, he was on the banned list from when they took him out of the Royal Rumble. Last year\u2019s Royal Rumble, not this year\u2019s [show].\u201d<\/p>\n

Lesnar is a 10-time WWE champion (split across two titles).<\/p>\n

During his first stint under the UFC banner, Lesnar captured the heavyweight title by knocking out Randy Couture at UFC 91<\/a>, then defended the strap with consecutive victories (and consecutive finishes) over Frank Mir (UFC 100<\/a>) and Shane Carwin (UFC 116<\/a>). Lesnar (5-3, 1 NC) would eventually surrender the strap to Cain Velasquez at UFC 121 in late 2010<\/a>. His final two appearances inside the Octagon resulted in a loss to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141<\/a> and a \u201cNo Contest\u201d against Mark Hunt at UFC 200<\/a>.<\/p>\n
