{"id":298032,"date":"2025-11-21T18:50:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-21T18:50:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/298032\/"},"modified":"2025-11-21T18:50:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T18:50:08","slug":"boy-dead-man-critical-folowing-missisauga-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/298032\/","title":{"rendered":"Boy dead, man critical folowing Missisauga crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A boy has died, while a man remains in critical condition, after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctvnews.ca\/toronto\/article\/man-and-youth-in-life-threatening-condition-after-being-struck-by-two-vehicles-in-mississauga-police-say\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ctvnews.ca\/toronto\/article\/man-and-youth-in-life-threatening-condition-after-being-struck-by-two-vehicles-in-mississauga-police-say\/\">being struck by the drivers of two vehicles<\/a> in Mississauga late Thursday afternoon, police say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The crash happened near Millcreek Drive and Millrace Court, north of Erin Mills Parkway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Emergency crews said they were called to that area just before 5:30 p.m. for reports of a collision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Const. Tyler Bell, of Peel Regional Police, said preliminary information suggests a white SUV travelling south hit two pedestrians crossing the road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The pedestrians, a man in his 60s and a boy under the age of 16, were then \u201cpotentially\u201d thrown into the path of a northbound Volkswagen, he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The youth, Bell said, was found trapped underneath the Volkswagen. He was extricated and was rushed to the hospital along with the other pedestrian.
