Welcome to the latest edition of Missed Fists where we shine a light on fights from across the globe that may have been overlooked in these hectic times where it seems like there\u2019s an MMA show every other day.<\/p>\n
Alex Pereira has so much aura (young\u2019ns, am I using this right?) that you can\u2019t blame others in the fighting space for wanting a piece. And what better way to manifest some of that \u201cPoatan\u201d shine than by copying the two-division UFC champion\u2019s signature moves.<\/p>\n
The methodical fighting-stance march, the bow-and-arrow shot, the quick combo, it\u2019s one of the best walkout routines ever and should one bring that energy with them to the ring, victory is guaranteed, surely.<\/p>\n

I mean, come on, that\u2019s a pretty good Pereira impression. Can you imagine what he had prepared for a celebration?<\/p>\n Well, keep imagining, because the bout did not go his way. You might have seen this clip circulating on social media and, yes, Sabith ended up getting completely obliterated, but it wasn\u2019t in 10 seconds as has been aggregated by a few accounts.<\/p>\n There\u2019s no clock on the video, but my guess is it was actually 10 seconds into Round 3, hence the confusion. Regardless\u2026 I\u2019m guessing this doesn\u2019t make Sabith\u2019s antics look any better.<\/p>\n Listen, these things happen when you put memes over fight dreams. This one.<\/p>\n Four seconds, to be precise.<\/p>\n Ryan Daley made his amateur debut at Cage Titans 74 in Plymouth, Mass., and he was apparently not interested in experiencing a full three-round fight because he fired off a seek-and-destroy left hand that immediately found Bryan Daviage\u2019s chin and knocked him out before his body touched canvas.<\/p>\n Imagine if Daley decided he was done with fighting and the entirety of his MMA experience was four seconds. He\u2019d be like the anti-Rafael dos Anjos.<\/p>\n You can check out Cage Titans events and more regional action with a subscription to Spectation Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kadeem Perkins vs. Ciaran Brady<\/p>\n Undefeated Cage Warriors star Luke Riley makes his UFC debut Saturday in Qatar, so what better time to check in on his former promotion, which held an event in London this past weekend.<\/p>\n Kadeem Perkins announced himself as one to watch, scoring his first knockout in his second Cage Warriors appearance. Check out this big knee, which turned Ciaran Brady around and left him face-down on the mat.<\/p>\n Now 4-0 as a pro, the 29-year-old bantamweight is likely at least a year away from considering a jump to a North American promotion, but this KO is going to get him a lot of well-deserved attention.<\/p>\n Kane Rickus vs. James SargisonYaqoot Hakimi vs. Ran DengShamidkhan Magomedov vs. Marcos SantanaAdrian Garcia vs. Yermakhan Oryntaev<\/p>\n Let\u2019s stay on UFC Fight Pass<\/a> for a few more highlight-reel knockouts, courtesy of Eternal MMA, UAE Warriors, and LFA.<\/p>\n Eternal MMA actually held two events, 100 and 101, in Queensland, Australia, to celebrate an incredible run of shows, which began in 2012.<\/p>\n At 100, Kane Rickus caught James Sargison with a head kick that turned his legs into Jell-O.<\/p>\n Fell on his keister, flopped back, outta there<\/p>\n The next night, it was Yaqoot Hakimi bringing chaos into the cage as he smacked Ran Deng with a spinning elbow that, at first, had both men falling ass over tea kettle.<\/p>\n Obviously, Deng got the far worse of this exchange and Hakimi kind of slickly rolled into position to ground-and-pound. Let\u2019s go with that. Went exactly as Hakimi drew it up.<\/p>\n Over in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, LFA welterweight champion Shamidkhan Magomedov shined in his UAE Warriors debut, catching Marcos Santana with a head kick at the perfect time.<\/p>\n I guess \u201cperfect\u201d is a matter of perspective. Santana probably doesn\u2019t see it that way.<\/p>\n And then we stop off in Mashantucket, Conn., where Adrian Garcia should probably be suspended for bringing a brick into the cage.<\/p>\n Oh, that was just his right hand? My mistake.
