Joe Burrow will spend another week on the sidelines.<\/p>\n
The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback won’t return from his turf toe injury on Sunday against the New England Patriots despite being listed as questionable, per multiple<\/a> reports<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n Burrow will need to be activated off injured reserve before making his return.<\/p>\n Instead, Joe Flacco will make another start for the Bengals (3-7), who have dropped seven of eight. While Flacco is healthy enough to start, he continues to manage a shoulder injury that has impacted him over the last month and was limited in practice this week.<\/p>\n Burrow has not played since he was injured in a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sept. 14.<\/p>\n He returned to practice in a limited capacity last week and then began doing 11-on-11 drills in practice this week.<\/p>\n The Bengals have a quick turnaround ahead of Week 12, when they meet the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday as part of the NFL’s Thanksgiving slate.<\/p>\n –with files from The Associated Press<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Joe Burrow will spend another week on the sidelines.
