A man was arrested and charged over a disturbance on an EasyJet<\/a> flight from London\u2019s Luton Airport to Scotland\u2019s Glasgow Airport on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Footage circulating online<\/a> shows a man on the flight shouting, \u201cI\u2019ve got a bomb!\u201d along with \u201cdeath to America, death to Trump!\u201d and \u201cAllahu Akbar!\u201d \u2014 which translates to \u201cGod is great\u201d in Arabic.<\/p>\n

The footage then shows another passenger tackling the man and holding him down on the ground as other passengers assist in restraining him.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy are you saying you\u2019re going to bomb this plane?\u201d a passenger asks the man, as he\u2019s being held down on the airplane floor.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause I want to send a message to Trump,\u201d the man replies, before referencing the U.S. president\u2019s trip, which saw him arrive in Scotland<\/a> over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Police Scotland told People magazine that authorities boarded the aircraft once it arrived and arrested<\/a> a 41-year-old man. He remains in custody<\/a> and is due in Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, reports the BBC.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this time, we believe the incident was contained and that nobody else was involved,\u201d police said in a news release<\/a>, but did not confirm the charges the man faces.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are aware of videos circulating online and these are being assessed by counter-terrorism officers.\u201d<\/p>\n

An EasyJet spokesperson confirmed the incident<\/a> and said that the passenger was removed \u201cdue to their behaviour onboard.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEasyJet\u2019s crew are trained to assess all situations and act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other customers is not compromised at any time,\u201d the rep continued.<\/p>\n

Trump is currently on a four-day visit to Scotland. He is expected to meet<\/a> with Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Monday at a golf property owned by the president.<\/p>\n
