{"id":300641,"date":"2025-11-23T00:15:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-23T00:15:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/300641\/"},"modified":"2025-11-23T00:15:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-23T00:15:11","slug":"wanted-fugitive-arrested-in-toronto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/300641\/","title":{"rendered":"wanted fugitive arrested in Toronto"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"b-date-custom__date-item\">Updated:\u00a0November 22, 2025 at 6:37PM EST<\/p>\n<p class=\"b-date-custom__date-item\">Published:\u00a0November 22, 2025 at 6:17PM EST<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">One of the most wanted fugitives in Canada has been arrested.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Ontario Provincial Police\u2019s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement had been looking for Nicholas Singh, 23, who had been \u201cunlawfully at large\u201d since May 31, 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He was serving a five-year, five-month and 10-day sentence for robbery and firearm-related charges when he went on the run.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Singh was no. 15 in the updated Bolo (Be on the lookout) Program\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctvnews.ca\/toronto\/local\/article\/toronto-murder-suspect-tops-list-of-25-most-wanted-fugitives-in-canada\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ctvnews.ca\/toronto\/local\/article\/toronto-murder-suspect-tops-list-of-25-most-wanted-fugitives-in-canada\/\">Top 25 list of Canada\u2019s most wanted suspects,<\/a> revealed in October.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Singh was arrested by Toronto police on Friday night in the area of Bathurst and Dundas streets.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/DBZOF42MP5BW7JQGYU2FBY2XVU.png\"  width=\"800\" height=\"450\"\/>Nicholas Singh Nicholas Singh has been arrested.
