It was the biggest opportunity for \u201cThe Future\u201d to date and a chance for him to stake his claim for a UFC welterweight title shot. As some expected \u2014 especially those who put late money on Garry \u2014 the Irish contender kept the fight on the feet and was able to out-strike Muhammad to earn the decision win.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">After his victory, Garry took to the microphone and proceeded to call out Makhachev, who defeated Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 322 last weekend to claim UFC\u2019s 170-pound title.
